William goes past 400 mile mark
Alan writes –
“Early this sunny morning William passed 400 miles”
Alan tells me –
“The 5 hour session from 1:30am proved particularly hard, but with a very short break and then a large bowl of porridge, he was off with continued vigour.”
Oh the wonders of porridge! But seriously, this isn’t just an Orcadian / Scottish thing, oats are a really good source of nutrition and William uses them a lot as part of both his training and in-race diet.
Alan persuaded William to pause for a photo –
William is now pushing on for the 500 mile mark…
