Time for some Heat Training?


If you are planning on training and or racing in a warmer environment than you are used to please consider proper preparation by doing some heat training.

It never amazes me how much runners are prepared to spend on entry fees, equipment, travel, accommodation and time off work but then give scant attention to heat preparation.  Often the heat then ruins any kind of performance and more importantly can damage their health.

The videos focus on Static Heat Training (sitting in a sauna).  If you want the best acclimatization it is best to exactly reproduce the conditions you will run in eg by running on a treadmill in a suitably hot/humid room.
