Six new M70 records claimed from GOMU World 48-Hour Championships

Hot on the heels of my M70 bronze medal at the GOMU World 48 Hour Championships in Italy last month, I’m delighted to announce that I’m claiming six new records from the race — subject to ratification.

The 48-hour event in Italy delivered far more than a podium finish. Across the two days I also passed through a series of split distances and times that, once ratified, will be added to the record books.

Inaugural Scottish M70 Road records

  • 12 Hours: 88.20 km
  • 24 Hours: 141.40 km
  • 48 Hours: 232.487 km
  • 100 km: 14:09:06
  • 100 miles: 29:07:47

GB M70 Road record

12 Hours: 88.20 km

All six marks are now with the relevant ratifying bodies, and I’ll share an update here as soon as they are confirmed. Huge thanks once again to everyone who supported me on the road back to international competition — none of this would have been possible without you.
