Race updates from the Perth Ultra Fest 24 Hour race will appear here on Saturday and Sunday 13/14th September.  Race starts 10am Saturday.

Sep 13 14:03: Hour 4 – 42.9km, doing well on target.

18:31: Hour 8 – 83km, still on target doing great.

22:10: Half way – 116km, slightly below target. Wet all day.

Sep. 14 03:11: Hour 17, ran 150km, placed 2nd.

11:54: After 24 hours William finished 2nd man, first in age group. Season’s best with 125.326 miles run.

This event was belatedly designated as the inaugural Scottish 24 Hour Championships so I got the silver medal as well.  Furthermore, I surpassed the Commonwealth Championships qualifying mark of 200km.  The Commonwealth 24 Hour Championships will take place in Keswick in September 2009.
