Monaco “No Finish Line” 8 Day Race – 48hr update
2 days into the 8 day race, William had covered around 300km (last actual figures I have had William on 295.6km / 183.68 miles a little before the 48hr point). Pre-race, we would have been looking for William to be on 300km or more at this stage of the race, but this had to be revised slightly as William & the crew made the decision to bring forward William’s rest break to avoid too much noise and music in the background while William was trying to sleep.

Alan tells me that Heather Foundling -Hawker (England/UK) entered the “No Finish Line” aiming to just run for the first 2 days of the race, and this looks to have worked out well for her. While I have no confirmation of official distances etc and these would in any event be subject to later ratification etc, at this point her 48hr total of roughly 316km / 196.35 miles may well be a new GB Women’s 48hr record.
Heather can noiw take a well deserved rest, while the other runners still have another 6 days ahead of them…
