Monaco No Finish Line 2013 – Update from the race
Technology has been playing up in Orkney as well as in Monaco (following a local powercut) but we do now have some news.
The race, which restarted yesterday following cancellation due to severe weather & storm damage, now has chip results available on-line.
I hope to add a feed to the blog shortly but in the meantime you can check distances & positions HERE
William, who very much had his eye on several records at the start of the race, decided to continue running in the race regardles, even though the lengthy time off-track due to the storm will simply be “lost” i.e. there is no extension to the time of the race and thus final distances etc will inevitably be lower (which obviously may make record attempts virtualy impossible)
For much of yesterday William was in 6th place overall, but overnight he moved up into the #5 spot.
The latest figures as I type are
Position | Distance | Name | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 501.733 km | SESSEGOLO DIDIER | ||
2 | 472.085 km | KEWLEY DOUGLAS | ||
3 | 466.825 km | LABORIE CHRISTOPHE | ||
4 | 446.382 km | DA CUNHA MANUEL | ||
5 | 434.668 km | SICHEL WILLIAM |
More news as I get it
