In addition to William’s win in Köln, his distance of (from Alan’s figures) 207.981miles /  334.714 kms will set new M55 Scottish and British records for 48hr Track (as ever,subject to confirmation & ratification by the ultra-running governing bodies)

In the context of the torrential rain and flooded track, this was an excellent performance from William, only 3.78 miles / 6.08 km under his 48hr Track PB of 340.80km / 211.76 miles (from 2008).
