At 36hrs, three-quarters of the way through the 48hr race, and with 12 hours still to go, William retains his 1st place position and has increased his lead to around 7.5miles / 12km, currently having run 163.63 miles / 262.34 km.

There is next to nothing to separate the number 2,3 & 4 runners (Nobert Ebbert #2, Jan van de Erve #3 & Markus Flick #4), all having reached approximately 250km and then come off-track for a break.
