Helsinki – At the half-way point…
A quick bit of stock taking at half-way into the 24hr race.
William is looking comfortable at present with a distance so far of 111.55km at the 12hr mark.
Paul Hart looks to be settling in to the 2nd half of the race and has so far run 118.18km. He is currently theoretically just about bang-on target to achieve a qualifying distance (235 km) for a place in the British team at the World Games later this year – BUT only if he runs almost exactly the same distance in the second half of the race as he has managed in the first – no easy task for any runner…
Mark Cockbain looks to be getting a bit of second steam so hopefully will do well in the second half of the race.
