Delighted with my debut performance in Surgeres 340.797km/211.7 miles, 5th overall, 1st in age group and a PB on the track. Not bad for the oldest man in the field!  Great to beat last year’s winner Ohtaki from Japan by just half a lap as well.

The event lived up to all expectations.  Fantastic organisation throughout, great atmosphere etc.  Would be great to be invited back.
