It seems a bit premature to be predicting new World Records but I thought I’d pass on the info from the organisers down in Wales :

“We have a possible world record run unfolding in the womens race, as Lizzy Hawker (England) has run over 117km (70 miles) in the first 11 hours!”

Which still of course leaves another 13hrs still to go… But the very best of luck to Lizzy in the attempt.
