William covered 500 miles in 140 hrs, 20 mins, 18 secs (or so Tim Rainey told me from memory, with the caveat that he may have misremembered the exact time – Tim’s not had all that much more sleep than William!).

As with any record, this will be subject to later confirmation and ratification, but this should mean that William has set new Scottish & British M55 500 Mile (Track) records
