Tim Rainey, William’s crewman, told me “William did 1000 miles in 17 days 12 hours 15 minutes and 24 Seconds.” Subject to all the usual confirmations & ratifications etc, this should be a new M60 Scottish and British Record (but not a World Record as we had previously thought).
