3,100 Mile Race: Links and Information

Time difference between New York and the UK is 5 hours. New York is 5 hours behind the UK

We have to be on the start line at 6am NY time (= 11am UK time) every day and the race stops every day at mid-night NY time (= 5am UK time).

Race website: This is the  main resource for the race with links, results and daily short videos including Rupantar’s light-hearted, short, morning video filmed just prior to the start every day.

Visiting the 3100 Race

Nearest subway is at 169th St on the F – it’s almost the end of the line in Queens.
Then walk a block to 168th st and walk up the hill about half a mile to 84th Avenue (also called Joe Austin Way) and then take a left and the race home will be a 100 yards on the right hand side of the street just past the Thomas Edison High school.
You will see vans and the scoreboard will be hung on the fence. Its pretty low-key but you will see runners as they approach the race home.
There is a bus that comes up 164th St from Hillside Avenue and which stops just before 84th Av and which may come from Jamaica Street Terminal (not sure about that though) located at Merrick Blvd and 89th Av.
Zipcode is 11432
